This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect access to the live console from automated abuse. Turnstile is a privacy-preserving challenge provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When it runs, Cloudflare may process certain information from your browser and device — such as your IP address, user agent, and interaction signals — to distinguish people from bots.
The sculpture is driven by publicly available city data fetched from third-party providers. To render the artwork we send only the selected city's geographic coordinates (latitude/longitude) to these providers — never your personal information. Each provider may, however, collect technical and usage data (such as IP address and request metadata) in the course of serving those requests, subject to their own privacy practices:
- Open-Meteo — provides live weather (temperature, wind, precipitation, cloud cover, humidity) and air-quality readings (PM2.5/PM10, NO₂, O₃). Requests are made from our server by city coordinates. See the Open-Meteo website.
- TomTom — provides live road-traffic congestion used to set the sculpture's breathing rate. We request traffic flow for the selected city's coordinates through our server, which holds the TomTom API key. TomTom may collect usage and technical data from these requests. See the TomTom Privacy Statement.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the human-verification challenge described above. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We do not use cookies for analytics, and we do not sell or share any personal information. No account, login, or personally identifiable information is collected by this site itself.
For details on how each provider handles data, see their respective privacy policies linked above.
